Formed in 1977, the Village Players are a friendly, vibrant amateur dramatics group based in the village of Nayland, in the heart of Suffolk’s Constable country but drawing our members from all over the surrounding area.

We traditionally present two plays a year, in March/April and November/December in Nayland Village Hall.

We are always looking for new members, but don’t worry if you’ve never been on stage before – no previous experience is necessary! Even if you don’t want to perform; there are always plenty of jobs to do, in stage management, lighting, sound, costumes or set design.
